Event Details :

The second edition of ‘Trek For a Cause’ was organized on November 27, 2022, to conduct a livelihood survey among the tribal communities of Athirapally. The team of volunteers had discussions with the local community and the officials of the Athirappally forest range. The survey was conducted to do socially beneficial activities for the community and their welfare. After the survey volunteers visited the Vazhachal waterfalls and had a trek through the forest range of Athirapally.

KITES would like to thank Athirapallly Gram panchayath President, Rijesh for inaugurating and giving his full support and awareness for the survey and the trek. Kites India's Chief Executive Officer Ajmal Chakkarapadam, The Future Project Director, Vishnu Ullas, and Program Coordinator Gayathri C Raj took part in the campaign. More than 35 Volunteers from different parts of the state joined the trek.
