We intend to transfer the libraries renovated through “Book Farm” into Micro Learning hubs, where the youth and children of the areas get a platform to harbour their skills and learn new skill.
In the age of demographic dividend and contention, opportunities will not present themselves rather we have to be able to find and create them. We strive to provide today’s youth the opportunity for the youth to be able to truly utilize this opportunity.
A micro learning hub is a creative space which are ought to be built inside local communities for children and teenagers. As a pilot stage 14 micro learning hubs are planned in Kerala and 75 across India.
To accentuate the youth of India by assisting them to utilize their true potential.
The major vision of the Micro learning hub is to help students in identifying their true potential. Through each hub, we envisage creating a world beyond books for each student, by conducting activities and workshops that lead them to a bright future with sustainable socio-cultural development.
The micro learning hub is a gradually developing concept with a ground plan of 14 hubs in Kerala as a pilot stage with one learning hub in every district. As a part of postulating micro learning hubs, we have introduced a flagship initiative named “Book Farm” to identify and renovate libraries in the state and to gradually ameliorate these libraries into a micro learninghub where skills are harvested.
Through crowdfunding and collection drives Kites volunteers will select, renovate and build new libraries throughout Kerala.
The proper requirement of each library will be analyzed, and necessary renovation activities are executed under each district committee where the libraries are located.
These libraries will be converted to a micro learning hub that envisions bringing change in the children by helping them identify their true potential. These libraries are then transformed into sustainable community development centers.
