KITES Foundation is a not-for-profit, non- governmental organization registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. For an organisation to be termed as charity it requires Income tax clearances under Clause 12 A of Income Tax Act so KITES is technically a charity. Though our projects are fundamentally service oriented they are dynamic and seek to explore a new dimension of charity.

• To incubate and celebrate transformative individual ideas through collective effort to build leaders and social entrepreneurs, capable of responding to the new challenges.
• To identify and resolve community-based problems with desirable solutions by joining hands with the Government machinery.
• To engage in quality knowledge generation through research to facilitate informed actions.
• To explore the potential of youth networking within and outside the nation

• You can voluntarily approach the organisers in order to be a part of a project or else the project will call you in a needs-based manner.
• Brainstorm on good ideas with your friends and bring it to the notice of the Board members.
• Get approved and make your mark as an organisational leader.
• Break out of your shelters, comfort zones and seek for opportunities that will give your talents and potential a space.
• Make sure you grow with the organisation. Because YOU are the organisation.
• KITES will ensure that you are getting ample support to materialise your goals as a social entrepreneur.
