An effort by St. Michael's College Cherthala students to promote sustainable development by maximising the power of recycling. The college students pooled their collections of used books and sold them for recycling. The money made was used to support charitable initiatives. 17 trees and 7,000 gallons of water can be saved for every tonne of recycled paper. Air pollution and water pollution caused by paper production can also be prevented by promotion of recycling.

Zero Hunger

According to the United Nations, out of 8 billion population almost 700 million people are poor in the world. Many people struggle to make enough money to simply pay for their own food. This initiative is a small step toward reducing poverty and hunger and ensuring SDG. The needy people in Ernakulam city premises will receive packaged food from Sacred Heart College Thevara students. The students of SH,Thevara have the courage and determination to make Ernakulam "hunger-free."

Cinemakotta

In shelter homes children are being fed and groomed properly. But a few will think about how those children are being entertained during leisure time. Students from Bharata Mata College of Commerce & Arts decided to do their little bit to ensure everyone is amused. Children will see movies on large screens. Movies' powerful protagonists can motivate them to follow in their footsteps, and watching them can have a beneficial emotional influence. New cultures will be presented to the kids, which will help them learn better.

The E-Sieve

A social media campaign is being run by PSMO College Thirurangadi students to eliminate harmful and unsafe content from social media platforms. Even though social media offers countless benefits, it also has a lot of negative aspects. Removal of posts which include illegal activities, bullying, identity theft, and hacking will be facilitated by such widespread reporting. Additionally, they intend to provide advice on how to utilise social media safely and effectively.

The initiative, Trek for a Cause, was inspired by young people's desire to travel and discover the world. Trek for a Cause seeks to utilise this desire and excitement for a charitable cause strategically. Depending on the location and circumstance, the sociological cause varies. In the end, a youth group uses its love of travel to make a difference and bring about change.

First-Aid

The speed of someone's injury recovery might be greatly influenced by your immediate assistance. Even giving the injured individual emotional support can help them feel more at ease. As a part of Project First-Aid, expert doctors from Aster Hospitals will lead medical RRT sessions in colleges across Kerala. A new group of volunteers will receive training from these trained adolescents, and the cycle will continue. The project's ultimate goal is to prepare every college student to offer emergency medical care.
