AM Ariff , honourable MP opined that art and literature are the greatest medicines to keep the human mind from drying out in a crisis situation.He added that art and literature helped us in surviving in the catastrophic floods and the killer pandemic by giving a ray of hope to the humankind to move forward despite the worst conditions.

He was speaking at the award ceremony of the _Rang_Youth Festival organized by Kites Foundation virtually during the pandemic. The Rang Youth Fest ,the largest online youth festival organized by Kites foundation in Kerala was kicked off on November 14, 2020. The 15-day event featured over thousand participants online in over 150 contests in three categories.

MP Shri AM Arif inaugurated the award presentation ceremony and congratulatory function which was held at Kalavoor Service Cooperative Bank, Alappuzha. Nileen Sandra, Screenwriter and Actress of Kerala's Most Popular Digital Platform - Karikku, Creative Photographer Hafiz Sajeev (Founder & CEO, Thrikannan Originals), D 4 Dance Fame Ajith Ashokan and YouTuber Arjun Sundaresan (Arjyou) were the special guests. Kites Foundation Kerala State Secretary Edwin Jose, Director Board Member Vishnu Ullas, Kites Alappuzha District Coordinators Heera Paresh and Meenakshi. M addressed the gathering.A concert by the Presto Forte Band was also held in the event.
