KITES is seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals for the position of Finance Manager. As a Finance Manager,you will be playing a critical role in ensuring the systematical and structural use of financial resources and maintaining financial stability. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is typically required.
Should have knowledge on effectively raising funds for our initiatives and support the community's needs.
2 years experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles is essential.
Understanding of fund accounting, restricted funds, grant management, and compliance with donor requirements is highly valued.
Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modelling, and financial reporting is necessary.
Ability to interpret financial data, prepare accurate financial statements, and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders is important.
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning are required. Experience in developing and managing budgets, tracking variances, and conducting financial projections is highly valued.
Proficiency in using financial management software, accounting systems, and spreadsheet applications is essential. Knowledge of software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Excel, or financial enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is beneficial.
Familiarity with financial regulations, tax compliance, and auditing processes is important. Ability to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, coordinate audits, and address audit findings is highly valued.
High ethical standards and integrity in financial management practices are essential. A commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible financial stewardship is highly valued.
Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets in collaboration with the executive team and program managers. Ensure alignment of financial goals with the organisation's strategic objectives.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Present financial information to the management team, board of directors, and donors as required.
Grant and Contract Management: Manage the financial aspects of grants, contracts, and funding agreements. Ensure compliance with donor requirements and regulations, including financial reporting and auditing.
Financial Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain effective financial control systems to safeguard the organisation's assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Monitor internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention measures.
Budget Monitoring and Forecasting: Monitor budget performance, track expenditures, and provide regular financial analysis and forecasting. Identify areas of concern or improvement, and make recommendations to optimise resource allocation.
Cash Flow Management: Manage the organisation's cash flow, including cash flow projections, bank reconciliations, and monitoring of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs and project requirements.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and facilitate external audits and ensure timely submission of audited financial statements. Liaise with auditors, address audit queries, and implement recommendations for improved financial practices.
What We Offer:
Salary: 25k - 30k/Month + Travel Expenses
